Haley & Chris' {Wedding} | Savannah, GA
I met Haley when she was a bridesmaid in her best friend's wedding 6 months prior! We had talked a couple times when her friend recommended me, finally met, our personalities clicked and she knew she wanted me to photograph her wedding (how cool is that?! right?).
We had an absolute blast during her engagement session and ended up going out for a drink in the small town of Darien, GA! THEY ARE SUCH A FUN COUPLE! I think we spent more time laughing and playing than anything. Why are you still reading? Go look at how cute they are!
If you're still reading, I'll tell you about these cuties. They met at GCSU in Milledgeville as Biology majors in 2010. Haley thought Chris was handsome and figured out a way to start talking to him (lucky guy!). Next thing you know they have classes and are studying together.
Fast forward to the proposal - Chris and Haley go for a walk in the Aldridge Botanical Gardens. Chris pretends to see a skink (being the biology lovers they are, she's interested) and she starts helping him look for it. He announces he found it, but when he opens his hands there's this super sparkly (and hand-designed, I might add), absolutely perfect-for-Haley ring. Of course, she's expecting the skink and is confused. Lots of questions, convincing and tears, and she finally realizes this boy wants to marry her! YAY!!!!
We all got together April 1, 2017 - no, it's not a joke - to watch and celebrate their marriage. Boy oh boy, are these two just perfect for each other. They're both gorgeous, insanely smart and have that perfect amount of goofiness that perfectly complements each other. It couldn't have been a more perfect day and I'm so honored I got to capture it for them!
